November 2019 Glossybox

November Glossybox

Sorry this post is late, for some reason I just have not been motivated at all to write it up, even though it is a seriously good box this month. Lets have a look what we got…

Mudmasky

Mudmasky

Shock, much like last months products, I have never heard of this brand before. This is a full sized product and it’s worth £43.50.

The term “leave on mask” has always confused me, is it just another night cream or do you have to wash it off in the morning? As far as I can see it’s just an intense cream you put on so it can do its magic overnight, but just to be safe I also clean my face the morning after using The Body Shop’s Tee Tree toner and Seaweed toner.

I’m really enjoying using it, I doubt I will re-buy it when I’ve finished this tube because that price is unreal!! But I can tell by the way my skin looks and feels when I miss a couple of days. I just hope I can find a cheaper cream by the time I finish this tube.

Rituals

Rituals

A brand that I have heard of!! Rituals has been a brand that I have realyyyyyy wanted to try bit, being the cheapskate that I am, never actually got round to buying it. This hand cream is a full sized product and is priced at £9.90.

It’s smooth and rich, I love applying this on a night once I have put the over night mask on. This has lived up to all of the raving reviews I heard and I will probably end up getting another bottle once this one has gone.

Cetaphil

Cetaphil

Once again, I’ve actually heard of this brand AND I’ve seen it in the shops! But I’ve never had chance to use it and to be honest I’ve not had chance to use this deluxe sample size either. This is a pretty decent priced product and this sample is worth £1.10.

Kandi Cosmetics

Kandi Cosmetics

Yet another brand that I have not heard of but wow was I excited to try this! I always see people use things like this but never actually went out and bought one (shock,I know).I thought the above picture is what the product looked like when it was still, but it is sat on my makeup desk and it is literally clear! The magic is when you shake the bottle…

Kandi Cosmetics

I could honestly sit and look at it all day (If I could use the heart eye emoji this is SO where it would be!). It reminds me of a sensory bottle thatn you give to kids to calm them down.

This is a full sized bottle that retails at £20. You spray it either before or after you have done your makeup as it works as both s primer and a setting spray. I have managed to try it out as both and as a primer I honestly didn’t see that much difference, but as a setting spray it does work, my makeup seemed to stay for longer.

My only criticism is that I have is that the glitter can be a little intense and visible if you accidentally spray too much, which is easily done because a big positive is the spray is fine and distributes lovely and evenly.

Hair Exotics

Hair Exotics

This little beauty was a surprise for me. I’ve heard of this brand but never bought anything from them because I have greasy hair and the thought of adding more oil other than my Argon oil seriously worried me. But, and yes I know this now sounds bad, but I have managed to cut my hair washing days down to 2/3 from 7!! So I thought well what have I got to lose?

It’s not a huge bottle, it’s a full sized product and retails for £2.49. I was SOOOO surprised when I opened the bottle and it smelt like chocolate orange! When you use it you only have to use a coin sized amount and not the entire bottle like I thought you would. You literally take the coin sized amount and run it through the last 2 thirds of your damp hair and style like normal. It leaves your hair looking lovely and shiny.

This for me is a definite re-purchase!!

Offblak

Offblak

TEA! The bonus treat this month I can actually have! I think I used both of these the day that the box arrived.

The “brighten up” tea was not as nice as the “you’re golden” tea. For my taste buds the ginger didn’t go with the forest fruit in it but it realllyyyy went with the spicy orange.

At £0.84 per teabag, I would really like to think that I’m going to repurchase the “you’re golden” tea.

This box (as always) was £14, but everything inside was worth a whopping £78.67. Honestly these boxes just get better and better. Given that this is going up super duper late, hopefully within the next 2 weeks the next one should be up.

Love,

Kathleen xox
