Happy Sunday! Are we ready to kick this up coming weeks butt?? Well how about starting the week with a little bit of Christmas D.I.Y. ? And if you have kids who still believe in Santa then this is the post for you! This week (as you can guess by the title of this post) we have a little D.I.Y. on how to make your very own Christmas Eve Plate!!
And it is soooooo much easier and cheaper than what you might be thinking!!!
All you need is;
- A plain White Plate
- A Santa Milk Bottle (optional, I got these from B&M for £1 each)
- An Oven
What to do;
1. Pre-heat your oven to Gas Mark 5
2. Take your plate and your Sharpies and decorate however you want! A little tip is, if you get a milk bottle to put on the plate, draw around the base so you get the perfect sized circle that the bottle will sit on. And if you go wrong or the sharpie marks the bottle, simply use a wet-wipe and it comes off, just dry the area you have wiped before continuing. This is one of the ones I have made…
3. When your happy with how your plate looks, bake in the oven for 20 minutes!
And that is it!! You have made your very own Christmas Eve plate!! But as a warning, don’t wash these plates too much/ hard or wash in soapy water, as the Sharpie will eventually come off the plate!! But with how easy it is to make would you really be that bothered?
And that is yet another super easy D.I.Y. project for you to do. Hope you have fun making this for your little one(s) or a friends child, it is such a cute little present to make and personalise.
