Benefit Bronze Squad

Hi guys,

A couple of weeks ago I was super lucky and was chosen by the Debenhams #BeautyClubCommunity to test out and review one of the latest #Cheekleaders palettes (oh hell yes! one of my first pieces of makeup to review!!). Just over a week later this little beauty turned up…

It’s the Benefit Cheekleaders travel sized palette in the shade bronze squad. The travel sized palette comes with 3 pans of products instead of of 5 pans and a brush like the larger ones do, but I’ve just booked a holiday for June and this is going to be PERFECT for it.

The packaging is really sturdy and has a strong arse magnet that keep it shut, meaning that you could go travelling with it and not have that nigly feeling that you are going to open your makeup bag on the other end and and have broken makeup alllllll over. On the inside of the lid you get a decent sized mirror (I mean come on the packaging is small, so kudos to them for putting a decent mirror in it that you could actually do your makeup in if you had to). But the main thing we are all here for is the actual makeup you get in the palette…

  • Hoola Bronzer
  • Highlighter in the shade “Cookie”
  • A blush in “Gold Rush”

Apart from Hoola bronzer, BADgal Bang mascara and Gimme Brow, I haven’t really tried anything from Benefit so I didn’t know what to expect when I tried the rest of the palette. But like the bronzer the highlighter and blush are really nice and pigmented.

Once I used the bronzer and highlighter, they still looked like new! I did notice that once I used the blush though, quite s bit of the gold came off the product, but the finish is gorgeous!

Overall I really do love this palette and would definitely recommend this to friend, it is really good value for money.

What other Benefit products would you recommend?

Love,

Kathleen xox

  1. I am using mascara and primer from benefit and both are amazing… professional primer leaves a feel of smooth skin that is brilliant ❤❤

    1. I’ve tried the pearl primer that they do and I loved it!
