Have you seen that Aldi are now selling a dupe for the amazing Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser? And it is literally a quarter of the price at £5! But is it any good??
The Lacura cleanser comes in a squeeze-y tube instead of a pump tube that the Liz Earle cleanser comes in. I like this because you can see how much you have left and properly get every bit of product out, whereas with the Liz Earle cleanser you have to guess when you need to buy a new one and God knows how much product is secretly left in the tube by the end of it?.
The smell is just the same, it gives that slightly VIX type smell (which we all know how good that smells!) It has Cocoa butter in so it’s super hydrating and doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight after you have used it (much like Liz Earle).
It even comes with a face cloth! But unlike that one you get with Liz Earle it has a white trim instead of a light blue/green trim. And you can tell it’s not as high quality as the Liz Earle one, but its still soft, it’s just not as soft and you can see through the Lacura cloth whereas I don’t think you do with the Liz Earle one (or if you do it’s not as see through).
Another similarity is that it is dermatologically tested and good for all skin types. Meaning you can buy this with confidence no matter what type of skin you have, which is such a relief when you have sensitive skin!
It is worth it?
Considering the only difference I have found between the two products is the cloth (but you use a flannel it really isn’t a problem) and the fact it comes in a squeeze-y tube not a pump tube. I would definitely say that this is worth a try even if you end up using more product as you can’t count how many pumps you are using each time, it is a QUARTER of the price, so it really does not matter. If you are wanting to see what all the hype is about when it comes to the Liz Earle hot cloth cleaner but can’t bring yourself to pay the price? This is 100% a great way to see. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are made in the same factory to be honest.
